epiphany or epiphanies

January 7, 2011 § 2 Comments

we’re trying to decide if we ought to add members to our group and the concerns about numbers are being answered with they are nice people, reminds me of when I was teaching psychiatry in the nursing program and came time to add up the numbers for the final grades, one of the students–who everyone liked–hadn’t made the grade, as it were, but they kept insisting she should pass anyway, based on what they couldn’t say

the rub for me is the not talking about what we’re talking about, not even so much the decision hazy lazy crazy as it might be, there are consequences intended and otherwise, surprises as in you may be surprised is a whole other can of fish

red moon, yellow sun
yellow moon, red sun
it happens

feelings have words, words
have meaning, feelings have
meaning,

one or three
or two?
